Frode G. Stensaa, is a driving force in getting NEAR up and running, and founded NEAR together with Jan-Erik. Frode is the rocket propellant specialist with many years of experience with black-powder, potassium perchlorate, sodium chlorate, nitrocellulose, and anything that burns fast. He's educated as an electronics engineer, and has microcontroller design and programming as his specialty. Over the years there has been quite a lot of programming on PC's, Assembler, C and C++. Øystein Frostad, is our main man on metal works. He's got his own mechanical workshop with all the equipment you need to make rocket parts. He's doing impressive work and he works the craziest hours you've ever seen. He's not afraid to say yes to any project, as long as it's the machining part.

Dag Lundesgaard, our man of speed, and that means making the human body travel fast in any way thinkable. His business is making speed boats with composite materials. One of his rocket projects is a motor using Hydrogen Peroxide, and he made a stable motor with nice performance. This motor will be scaled up and used in a rocket project. If you'd like a nice mind blowing discussion on any space, aerial or nautical project, Dag is your man. Nothing has ever passed him by; he's a well of information and ideas.

Paul Frønæs, is an expert on solving technical/mechanical problems. Without him, things would have taken years for us to complete. He is now working offshore at the Norwegian oil fields. Paul likes the sea, has got his own boat and diving equipment.

Gunnar Bentzen, is our pyrotechnical expert! He has a great interest in fireworks techniques as well as in the historical part of it. GB have worked and learned about fireworks in Denmark with the famous Barfod family. Gunnar has his own firework firm in Oslo: Christiania Fyverkeri Compagnie. |

Kjetil Rolseth, is a highly experienced officer and weapons instructor from the Norwegian military, with many years of practice. He has also been educating English and American forces on arctic warfare, weapons and demolition. His education is design and he is a very skilled photographer. He was an official photographer during the Winter Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway 1994. Address: Lillehammer
